We will begin by reviewing your current reports and identify how we can streamline these reports into interactive dashboards. We will discuss key performance indicators that you are presently measuring and determine if there are other KPI’s that you may want to capture as well.
Once we have identified the data points that you want to measure we will then determine where the information lives in your practice. We can look to see how to pull the information into a dashboard from a feed instead of someone keying in the information. By having data pulled into your reports removes the possibility of human error in gathering your data.
We will then determine what product is right for your dashboard needs. Can you function through an Excel dashboard or do we move to Power BI. The important thing to note about dashboard development is we need to make sure that when you drill into the data you are presented with a usable subset of data to evaluate.
Finally, we will discuss the frequency of the metrics you want to review. Some dashboard reports are more for a monthly view than a daily view so it is important to identify these reports before building out the dashboard.
Once we have the information we need we will start to build a prototype of your dashboard. You will be engaged throughout the development of the dashboard as we want your end product to be tailored to your needs.
